The four-part chorales (in keyboard layout) are small and hard to read, but the figured chorale melodies are useful for teaching keyboard voice-leading (at least on paper. I've never used them for keyboard recitations). While
Handel's Lessons for Princess Anne are more systematic, the figured chorale melodies are more useful for teaching students when it's okay to relax voice-leading restrictions at the keyboard.
